710 Grade (IS 710) marine plywood is available in multiple thickness options to suit different applications, typically ranging from 4 mm to 25 mm. Commonly used thicknesses include 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, and 25 mm. Thinner sheets such as 4–9 mm are ideal for paneling, partitions, and lightweight furniture, while mid-range thicknesses like 12–16 mm are widely used for cabinets, wardrobes, and doors. Thicker boards ranging from 18–25 mm are preferred for heavy-duty furniture, countertops, flooring bases, and load-bearing applications where superior strength, stability, and long-term durability are required, especially in moisture-prone environments.
